We did a few things this week. Some of those things are when we reviewed force diagrams and motion diagrams. We also had homeworks that had the same kind of things. During the week we also had debates and went back and forth saying why we think something is this way and not that way. I personaly think that it was really fun. We should do them more often because alot of people like them. This week we also did a bunch of handouts for homework then we went over them in class which was good because I was confused but then when we went over it I got it.

This week i learned a bunch of new things that can and will help me when i get older and need to know these things. Some of the new things that i learned how to do is i learned how to make a force diagram and how to label it and see if there is an unbalenced force on it too. Another thing that i learned how to do is i learned how to figure out how a FScale works and then find the force of it by making a force diagram. We also did debates and there would be two people (Ben and Ellie and Sam and Laura) and we had to get into groups to figure out who was right and why. I personaly thought that that was really fun getting up and moving around is good during the class. I think it keeps people awake. And last week i forgot to blog but last week we got to push Mr. Segen's car outside and we all watched what happened to it after we gave it a push. I also thought that that was really fun too for the same reason as before.

This week in science, we did a lot of new things. Some of those things were finding out how to get to velocity and speed and how to put them into a motion diagram. We also had a partner quiz at the end of the week. During the week we also had a lot of word problems requiring us to figure out the speed, velocity, and change in time. We also found out what the velocity would be for a rolling marble on a slanted surface. We also learned how to find the change in position over the change of time in several graphs.

This week in science we did alot of cool tests and experiments and things like that. The first thing that we did was we wanted to see how fast a normal speed of someone walking would be. In order to find out how fast someone walks we neede to make a hypothesis and a prediction and creat a test then run the test and then we would record the results in our notebooks. Which we did. Then we did another expirement. That one was to see when and where to cars going head on would crash. To do this we needed to do the same thing we did for the other test. We needed to creat a prediction, hypothesis and a test. We didn't reall have enough time to acually do the test but we made a graph that shows when and where the to cars will crash. We also made a dot diagram to show the speed that they were going at. One of the cars was going faster then the other one. These are very important things to know about. like how to make graphs and diagrams go when we get to collage or get a job and need to know these things we will already know how.

OUR 3 DAY WEEK
We did not do alot this week because of we only ad 3 days but in that short period of time we did a few things. Some of the things that we did was learned what a Function is and how it works. We also learned how to figure out how to solve functions too. We also took a quiz (with a partner) and on that quiz we had to graph things and draw dot diagrams and things like that. We went over homwork and Mr. Segan made a fun activity for us. He put pics of graphs on the board and said which way is positive and whick way is negative and he had to figure out wat dance move it was that Micheal Jackson did. Well thats pretty much all we did in the past 3 days.

What we did in cience over the past week.
Over thepast week i was absent on monday but i was there for he rest of the week. During that time we made many diffrent types of graphs and many diffrent kinds of diagrams. One of the diagrams that we learned how to make is called a dot diagram. It has many diffrent kinds of dots. The dots stand for a speed of something. If the dots are close together then that means that the speed is slow but if the dots are far away then that means that the speed is fast, but if the ots are the normal not to far apart and not to close together then that means that the speed is staying the same. Example: ( . . . . . .) or ( . . . . . . .) or ( ...............)
We also learned how to create diffrent types of graphs and how they work. During the week we also did many hand outs for homework. They were all about how you make graphs and diffrent kinds of charts and things like that. For the graphs we learned how to make them curve and put the time and position on it too.

This week we did so many new and cool things. One of those things was that we all learned all about motion. When mr. s was walkinig with the ball in his hand, he doesnt think that the ball is moved because it never went out of his sight but when he was moving meaning so was the ball. Motion is Relative- something is being compared to something else. We also learned about what is better to know nort south east and west or left and right. The answer can be both beacuse it depends wht you are doing. If you are on a hike and need directions you should use North South East and West. But if you are drinving in a car and you are ost then you should know right and dleft is better to know. This week we also cut cow eyes open. It was gross at first but then after the gross part was over it was kind of cool. We saw the lense and the cornia and more things. We also did an experiment with a car and out hypothesize was that we think that the car will stay at the same speed. Our test was when we did our test it worked and we were right.
